Park150 Tree Planting Event

We’ll be honouring national leaders and outstanding community members who have helped shape our municipality. We will also be including a farmers market with an assortment of vendors selling/advertising products. The following dignitaries and honourees listed below have been invited to come plant a tree in their honour and enjoy some speeches from dignitaries, council members and celebrate our history. As well as help us plant the seeds for a greener future! The Dignitaries attending the September 20th event are:

• The Honourable Janice Filmon – Former Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba
• The Honourable Gary Filmon – Former Premier of Manitoba

Park150 is a one-of-a-kind legacy project in development for the RM’s 150th anniversary in 2030. The park will feature tall grass prairies, pollinator gardens, recreation spaces, walking paths, and commemorative trees planted by leaders and community members.
