Planting Fruit Trees at the Peace School

The Peace School is a child-friendly, democratic school that designs its educational programs with the goal of promoting a culture of peace and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Since tree planting, the expansion of green spaces, and access to healthy food for all are core values of both peace education and the SDGs, the Peace School is organizing a special event that encourages families and students to come together and plant a variety of fruit trees on the school grounds.

The diversity of fruit trees not only supports environmental sustainability but also helps students understand the importance of fruits and the role of trees in providing healthy, nutritious food.

We also hope to inspire members of the local community to participate in this meaningful event and join us in building a greener and healthier future for our children.
