Squamish Rivers Day Celebration

Join the Squamish River Watershed Society for a Rivers Day celebration! Help plant to restore habitat in the estuary, and learn about our watershed and the importance of our estuary, where our beautiful rivers meet the ocean.

We will be planting the lush Lyngbyei’s sedge, promoting native growth to restore sedge marsh habitat in the estuary. Planting will start at 10:00 am. Everyone is welcome! Tools and gloves will be provided, as well as snacks and refreshments. Come prepared for the weather. We will plant rain or shine!

Food/Drink: Coffee, hot chocolate, refreshments, and snacks
Cost: Free, everyone is welcome! No registration required.
Parking: Please park in the designated pullouts or appropriately on the road shoulder.
