“National Tree Day Yoga Day” -Tues., Sept. 24, 2024

In support of Tree Canada’s mission to inspire, educate and enable Canadians to plant and nurture trees to improve lives and address climate change, our Sept. 24th, gentle yoga class will explore the benefits of tree pose and the multiple variations of, and accommodations for, this powerful asana, while sprinkling the instruction with some amazing, scientific facts about the healing power of spending times with trees. Open to the public. Appropriate for all levels. We supply yoga mats. $15 cash. See you at the community centre at Oakridge Family Campground, 9910 Northville Crescent, Northville, Ontario – about 3 km south of Pinery Provincial Park gates!
