Native Tree Planting at Mādahòkì Farm with Seedling from Canadensis Native Tree Nursery

Back in June, Canadensis held its AGM at Mādahòkì Farm. To show our appreciation, Canadensis gifted 25 native conifer seedlings to Mādahòkì Farm. These seedlings, primarily pine and spruce, were grown from seed in our tree nursery at the Experimental Farm.

Canadensis will deliver and assist in planting the seedling on National Tree Day – Wednesday, September 25th.

Canadensis Botanical Garden Society is the not for profit group working to create Canada’s National Botanical Garden in Ottawa. It will be a beautiful and diverse botanic garden that provides all visitors with educational, interactive and enjoyable experiences in a unique, sustainable environment.

Mādahòkì Farm is Indigenous Experience’s property located in Ottawa’s Green Belt. It is Canada’s only Indigenous Agri-tourism destination and working farm.
